Fiona Pritchard
Fiona registered as a Music Therapist from the University of the West of England and gained an MSc in Dementia Studies from Bradford University. Initially she trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama studying French Horn, piano and voice, working as a professional musician and teacher for over 25 years, and as a musician in the healthcare sector for the last 10 years.
A successful composer, songwriter and arranger, Fiona has music and songs for children published by Harper Collins for their LETTERLAND phonic scheme, Monkey Music Ltd and has publications with Warwick Music Ltd available on the ABRSM brass exam syllabus. Her library of children’s music and songs have been used by the BBC, ITV and multiple independent channels and radio networks.
Fiona is passionate about using music as a means of communication and connection to increase feelings of wellbeing, inclusion and socialization. She has presented her work at the UK Dementia Congress and has been published in both National and International care journals.
