What we do

Coda Music and Arts Trust

Coda Music and Arts Trust exists to provide our local community with opportunities to engage in, and benefit from, music and the arts., as we believe this has the power to change lives.

Using music and the arts as tools for personal and social change, Coda embraces a broad range of artistic and creative services and provides a place to learn, train and develop, and offers help and support through participation and therapy.

Coda Music and Arts Trust seeks to provide universal access to the arts, music and creativity and continues to devise and deliver innovative education and health programmes which positively impact the lives of local people.

Having worked together with a local arts charity, formerly known as hArt (Hampshire Art for Recreation and Therapy) for some time, both organisations merged in 2023 under the name Coda Music and Arts Trust - a natural progression which provides Coda with a broader offering of both Music and Art, whilst operating within the same ethos and objectives.

The merger of our two charities means an expansion of Coda's objectives to include music and the arts, and a significant increase in our creative health and therapy programmes to support the local community.
