Stuart Jebbitt

With a background in youth and community work, Stuart has many years experience of using music as a tool to engage with a wide variety of groups.

He regularly performs in care homes, runs a number of learning disability music projects, and leads the Coda Ukulele band. Stuart also leads Coda’s Beautiful Sounds sessions on a Thursday. He plays Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Ukulele as well as dabbling with a number of other instruments.

Stuart has played in bands on the Pub, Club and functions circuit for over 25 years and draws on this experience to enthuse others to take up music and to perform.

He is also a regular contributor to Daily Thoughts on BBC Radio Solent, performing his self-penned humorous songs. Stuart is a qualified community worker (NVQ Level 3), as well as a trained Lifemusic practitioner – which encourages shared improvisational music making and a philosophy that making music is for everyone, not just musicians.
