Jonny Vernam

Jonny is a fun and easygoing guitar teacher who started playing guitar at the age of 8.

He was given guitar lessons by his grandmother for his 8th birthday as a surprise present. 26 years later Jonny is still playing everyday and is now a full time guitar teacher and performer.

Throughout his education Jonny always did really well in all aspects of music and ended up passing every step with distinction.

After completing guitar grades, Jonny focused on writing and performing either alone or with his band. Jonny achieved great success with his band and performed regularly throughout the country. To gain exposure, Jonny’s band performed alongside some well known artists including: The Zutons, Pete Doherty, Biffy Clyro, Keane & many others.In 2005, Jonny decided to take a break from performing and started a family with his wife Amber. They now have 3 children and live locally to Coda.

Jonny has since been focused mainly on guitar teaching and has gained valuable experience in teaching all popular rock, electric & acoustic guitar syllabuses. Jonny has helped many pupils obtain guitar qualifications and has taught countless students the art of guitar playing from complete beginners to more advanced.

Jonny rarely performs these days but can be found playing at the odd wedding from time to time.
