Coda Music Centre
Our home on the borders of Dorset and the New Forest
Coda has been based on the Dorset/ Hampshire border on the old farm buildings of the Chewton Glen estate since 1995. The farm site was purchased by the Trust in 2005 and over the past decade, has undergone a number of development phases and conversions.
Further development is currently underway, converting the remaining disused buildings and restoring the major remaining part of the Coda site, whilst conserving the heritage and unique character of our home. This capital development will provide facilities for new activity to support and respond to local economic and neighbourhood development plans.
The new facilities at Coda will include further space for creative health services alongside learning, workshop, rehearsal and exhibition spaces. The expected completion date for this phase of the development is July 2024.
The benefits of making music and art are proven and, through the creative use of our home, we aim to continue to make a positive impact on the intellectual, personal and social development of people across Dorset and Hampshire.
