BURSARY TESTIMONIALS

“Rowan has been having music lessons with Guy for close on 2 years and they have really helped him with his self-confidence over this time. This has been reflected not only in his ability to play for and talk to Guy (something he struggled with to start with) but also in his school work and other interactions where he has become more confident too.

During this time, he has had lots of problems both at school and home to contend with. He is also undergoing assessment for being Asperger’s. Through all this his music and weekly lessons with Guy have been a real source of continuity, structure and release.

Due to me, his mum, now being disabled and unable to work because of serious illness coupled with my husband having to give up work to become carer for myself and my 95 year old father who lives with us, money has become very tight and we thought Rowan would have to stop his music lessons. The bursary and the ability to pay in instalments has meant that he can continue with his lessons.

I cannot express how much this means to all the family. Rowan loves his music at Coda and gets so much from it, it would have devastated him to have had to stop.

Thank you Coda”
