As part of SoundStorm’s partnership with Lighthouse, Poole, the YOUNG PRODUCERS programme returns in early 2017, aimed at young people wanting to get hands-on experience in the creative industries.

·         The programme is open to young people aged 16-19

·         There are up to 12 highly subsidised places available – the fee for the whole programme is £40 per student but remissions are available

·         Successful applicants will attend sessions on a Thursday evening at Lighthouse, from January to April (6-8pm). The programme ends in April

·         The project will culminate in the young producers producing their own mini festival in Lighthouse on the afternoon/evening of Saturday 1 April – the APRIL FOOLS FESTIVAL

·         Attendees will gain experience across a range of specialisms, working with Lighthouse in-house team and guest programmers/producers/experts.

·         All attendees who complete the course will receive a certificate from Lighthouse

It’s a great opportunity and the feedback from Lighthouse’s first cohorts, who completed their course in May, was excellent.
