It has now been confirmed that Dorset will fall into TIER 2 which means that Coda Music Centre will be allowed to reopen for ‘in-person’ lessons (with all appropriate measures in place).
This represents a return to how we were operating prior to the second lockdown.
If you were having in-person lessons this Autumn Term (prior to the second lockdown), you can return to these starting from Wednesday 2nd December until the end of term on 12th December.
If you would now prefer to have your lessons delivered online, please let us know, otherwise we will assume that you will return for your in-person lessons.
There are two exceptions: Drums (with Greg) and Saxophone (with Kyle) which were due to resume in November. With just two weeks of term remaining, these lessons will now resume in January (and any payments already made will be held in credit for the Spring term invoice).
If you have chosen to have online lessons this term, there will be no change to your lesson delivery.
We will continue to take every precaution to protect our staff and students to keep everyone as safe as possible as we reopen our doors again, so it’s important that we all continue to follow the precautions put in place. Please ensure you have read our guidelines carefully before attending lessons so that you are familiar with the new procedures. If we all follow the Coda guidelines, we should not be coming into close contact with anyone in a teaching context.

As before, none of our groups will be meeting together ‘in person’ at Coda Music Centre until further notice.
The only exception to this MAY be our Ukulele Band and Folk Orc sessions taking place off-site at Walkford United Reformed Church. We believe these can now resume (pending confirmation from the venue) and will run for the 3 weeks leading up to Christmas (and a further 3 weeks in the New Year). The office will be in touch to confirm as soon as we hear from the venue.
