Beginners Mandolin (adults 16+)
Six week course
£60
Fridays,
10 – 11am
at Coda Music Centre (Room MT1)

Following the half term break, we are launching a brand new six-week Beginners Mandolin course.

This course, led by Chris Hopgood, will introduce you to the Mandolin: starting with the parts of the instrument, tuning and basic technique through to learning your first set of chords and scales.

At the end of the course you will have a book of 5 songs and tunes to play, along with access to audio examples of all the music covered.

You don’t even need to own a mandolin!

If you would like to borrow one of The Folk Orc stock mandolins for the course, then let us know when you book and we will arrange for a mandolin to be available for you for the sessions.

Should you wish to borrow a mandolin and take it home between lessons for the duration of the course, we will require an upfront payment of £90 (separate to the course fee) of which £60 is a deposit that will be returned at the end of the course with the safe return of the mandolin.
