This Half Term, Coda is running a Music Workshop in New Milton. It will take place on Thursday 30th June 10am to 4pm at The Memorial Centre, New Milton.
This free one day workshop for teenagers will be a hands on music session, creating a soundtrack for a film made by skaters on the New Milton skatepark and developing songwriting skills with the help of Nathan Thomas.
There are just 5 places available on the workshop. If you are aged 13 to 17 and would like a free place please contact phil.hallett@coda.org.uk by 5pm Friday 25th May.
Nathan is an Ivor Novello nominated songwriter and producer published by Global. After graduating from university Nathan was quickly snapped up by Universal Music Publishing seeing him work with many artist and producers from Sweden to South Africa and penning 2 top ten hits in the UK. His breadth of songwriting and production knowledge has lead him to passing on these skills through teaching and although still very much working in the the industry, Nathan believes that there is a greater good to be achieved through allowing young people to truly express themselves through original composition and performance.
