This bank holiday weekend in New Milton, there are two free events taking place at the recreation ground with opportunities to see Coda students perform as well as get involved in music activities.
On Saturday 27th May, our Kids Ukulele Band will be performing at the opening of the new New Milton Play Park on the recreation ground. They will be playing at the Performance Pavilion at 10.45am.
Following their performance, there will be a magician and some free goodies for the youngsters, so a great event to attend with kids over the Bank Holiday weekend.
On Bank Holiday Monday, 29th May, our friends at Forest Arts Centre are holding a free event inspired by all things ‘street’ at The Skatepark in New Milton.
You will have the opportunity to try
– a songwriting workshop with Coda
– street art/graffiti with Will Rosie and
– filming/editing with Rob Luckins Travelling Photographic Studio
As well as offering a songwriting workshop, Coda has programmed live music for the event from Alfie Bloor, Emma Hardy, Max Elmore and many more!
There will also be free art activities for younger children, so another great event for all the family.
Please come along if you can to support the youngsters in our Kids Ukulele Band, our workshop leaders and performers.
Have a great Bank Holiday weekend!
