On Saturday 24th September, Coda is holding a free Open Day, offering the chance to try out classes, groups, ensembles and one-to-one instrumental tuition.
This Open Day is for anybody who would like to find out more about Coda and what is offered at the music centre, as well as existing students who may wish to try out something new.
There will be workshops and taster sessions taking place throughout the morning, including:
Kids Ukulele Band group taster sessions (for ages 6 – 11)
9.30am – 10.00am & 10.00am – 10.30am
Rock & Pop School group taster sessions (for ages 7 – 13)
10.30am – 11.00am & 11.00am – 11.30am
Adult Beginners Ukulele group taster sessions
10.00am – 10.30am & 10.30am – 11.00am
Drum one-to-one taster sessions (15 mins)
10am – 11.45am every 15 minutes from 10am
Guitar one-to-one taster sessions (15 mins)
10am – 11.45am every 15 minutes from 10am
Vocal tuition one-to-one taster sessions (15 mins)
10am – 11.45am every 15 minutes from 10am
Piano/Keyboard one-to-one taster sessions (15 mins)
10am – 11.45am every 15 minutes from 10am
Cello one-to-one taster sessions (15 mins)
10am – 11.45am every 15 minutes from 10am
Violin one-to-one taster sessions (15 mins)
10am – 11.45am every 15 minutes from 10am
The Coda Social Coffee Shop will be open all morning, so parents can relax and read the papers while any young people try out groups or one-to-one tuition.
Coda will be firing up its brand new Pizza Oven from 11am for brunch and lunch and cooking pizzas to order for those who may wish to stay and soak up the atmosphere.
