We have all seen the devastating news of arts organisations and businesses which have simply been unable to weather the storm of Coronavirus.
The pandemic has had a profound and dramatic impact on Coda’s work but, thanks to many of you, we have been lucky enough to receive enough vital financial support to allow Coda Music Trust to survive over the lockdown period.
Individual donations, alongside support from Arts Council England and our local authority, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, have allowed us to survive and to create a whole new programme of free online activities.
Put simply, we couldn’t have done it without you! But we still need your help.
As part of its emergency response funding programme, Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership has pledged to match-fund, pound-for-pound, any donations Coda is able to raise through Crowdfunding (up to a maximum of £5,000).
Our goal, therefore, is to raise £5,000 from our supporters, to unlock a further £5,000, which will enable Coda to continue working, especially with the most vulnerable members of our community, until we can safely welcome everyone back to play with us in person.
We have just 26 days to reach our goal and achieve the maximum amount of match-funding.
For many, Coda has proved a lifeline during this difficult period and provided a way to make music, socialise and have fun. We want to ensure that Coda Music Trust continues to provide music for everyone in our community and remains here for you all well into the future.
We believe Coda is a special place and that music changes lives – and we hope you think so too!
Please help us to reach our target of £5,000 by 31st August.
If you can give anything, from a few pounds to a few thousand pounds, every penny will help and will be matched by Dorset LEP. We fully appreciate this is a difficult time financially for many people, but anything you can spare will really help Coda in the weeks and months ahead.
For this particular campaign, all of the donations must come through the Crowdfunder.co.uk website. If you would like to donate, please visit our page:
