Coda Music Trust
Coda Music Trust was established in 1996 by its founder, David Walters, to provide opportunities for creative music making, music therapy and music tuition and learning. Coda Music’s centre lies on the Dorset/Hampshire border. It is a registered charity (No: 1068710) with a board of trustees and a company limited by guarantee.
Funds to support our work in 2009 and 2010 have come from a wide range of sources including Youth Music, Henry Smith Charitable Foundation, The Foyle Foundation, The Lankelly Chase Foundation, Alice Ellen Cooper Dean Charitable Trust, The Radcliffe Trust, The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust, The Valentine Trust, The Rotary Clubs of Bournemouth, Lymington and New Milton, New Forest District Council, New Milton Town Council, Christchurch Borough Council, Christchurch Community Partnership, Hampshire County Council, New Forest District Council, Awards for All, The Gilchrist Educational Trust, The Garfield Weston Charitable Trust, The Ernest Cook Trust, Arts Council England, South West, New Milton Sand and Ballast, The Hospital of St Mary Magdalene, The Co-op Community Foundation, Bournemouth Borough Council, Dorset Music Services (Soundstorm) and numerous donations both from individuals and local businesses.
Coda Music Trust is also extremely grateful for the generous support and time and commitment of the Friends of Coda in helping Coda to raise funds from a range of local activities.
