Miranda has played the piano since the age of ten. Whilst at school she was a runner up in the National Chamber Music Competition and received masterclasses from Steven Isserlis and Gordon Fergus-Thompson. She later attended the Purcell School of Music and whilst there performed at The Purcell Room, South Bank and Fairfield Hall, Croydon.
After gaining a Music Degree she toured extensively with theatre companies both abroad and in the UK. She visited the USA, Canada, Russia, Estonia, Scandinavia and and Europe, performing for Radio Stockholm and American television. She is a qualified teacher and has taught piano in a number of schools and also previously at Coda.
Miranda moved from the London area in 2001 and continues to work freelance.
