Charlotte Gallagher trained at the highly prestigious Royal Academy of Music, London. After her studies Charlotte moved from the capital to the Bournemouth area in 1988 to take up a position within the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra – one of the country’s leading orchestras.
Charlotte spent eight years with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and within this time she toured an array of venues around Europe and the USA. Charlotte also preformed on many broadcasts for television along with radio and became a part of a multitude of recordings delivered by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
In 1996 Charlotte lest fulltime orchestral employment to settle into family life, however Charlotte still enjoys playing as a freelance musician in orchestras and smaller ensembles across the country today.
Throughout Charlotte’s career she has tutored private pupils as she has a very keen interest within the education of music. Charlotte offers strings tuition at Coda and also teaches at Durlston Court School and Talbot Heath School.
