Brendan has a balance of years of teaching work for all styles of acoustic, electric and bass guitar – and has been involved with many other types of musical projects too.
When studying Popular Music Performance at Southampton Solent, Brendan integrated with lecturers, working with them on songwriting, teaching and deputising in their bands.
Brendan was awarded ‘best mentor’ two years running in the Solent Sound scheme. Southampton Solent students visited and taught A level music students with a view to their bands competing in various local battle of the bands shows.
Through connections made at university, Brendan found work as bandleader for The Stars Of The Voice concert tour, which has led to current sessions and projects with various singers from The Voice.
Mike Stock from Stock Aitken Waterman appointed Brendan as bandleader for Shayne Ward’s latest album, “Closer”, including live lounge sessions and music videos.
Brendan continues to be active in the music industry with more projects on the horizon, and enjoys bringing all his knowledge and experience to his teaching career, where his students can learn both their grade books, and how to handle real world working scenarios.
