Coda devises and delivers music projects with schools and communities across Dorset and Hampshire. This outreach programme is created in response to local need and uses music as a tool for change, often tackling issues of social deprivation or crime, isolation, ill-health or disability. Projects include:

Coda Fiddle Orchestra
The Coda Fiddle Orchestra is a participatory community music project based in Boscombe that works with children, young people and their families from across Bournemouth.
The Orchestra is open to children aged 4 and upwards and is led by Jack Maguire, a former co-leader of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Musician in Residence at The Arts by The Sea Festival in Bournemouth.

Winchelsea School: Dots, Dashes & Diminuendos
This project represented one term’s work at Winchelsea School, a special school catering for children with special educational needs and disabilities and was a First Access project delivered as part of Coda’s work with the Bournemouth and Poole Music Hub, Soundstorm, investigating the relationship between visual art, sound and music.
