This 10-week course is designed to provide hands-on support for both amateur and professional musicians wishing to further develop their songwriting skills and learn more about the craft of composing.

Led by Adam Lemprell, the course will explore the art of creating both music and lyrics, covering key concepts and techniques and introducing a whole host of ‘tricks of the trade’.

As a songwriter, Adam has worked closely with some of the greats, including exceptional songwriter Chris Difford of Squeeze and he regularly co-writes with Joey Tempest of Europe, Skyscraper and The Bombay Dub Orchestra.

Adam is also a much sought-after guitarist and session musician, with 25 years experience of making records with artists including Bryan Ferry, Brian Eno, Europe, Sly and Robbie, Alison Goldfrapp and many more.

Adam now lives in Lymington and we are really pleased to have found a secret talent locally – and to welcome him to the Coda team.

The course will run on Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm (from 11th January to Thursday 22nd March) and is open to adults 16+

The cost is £150 for 10 weeks and the sessions will take place at Coda Music Centre.
